What happens on its own, what to tap each week, and how to feed it your DraftKings files.
What Solomon does on its own
Refreshes itself every day at 7 AM and noon, plus Sunday at 11:35 AM: new stats, betting lines, weather, and DraftKings' classic and showdown salaries.
Checks every player's status (IR, PUP, suspended, Out, Doubtful, Questionable). Anyone ruled out never goes in a lineup.
Alerts your phone on game day when a player is newly ruled out.
Scores your tracked lineups once the week's stats are in.
If the page looks stale, refresh it in your browser. There's nothing else to run.
Build lineups
Pick Classic or Showdown at the top. For showdown, tap the game (★ marks DraftKings' featured games).
Choose a model, or set the sliders yourself (they must total 100%). Save it with a name to reuse it.
Go to 2 · Lineups. Tap any player in the rankings to see his game log and history, and to lock or exclude him. In showdown you can lock a player as captain in every lineup, or in every lineup but never as captain.
Set how many lineups, variety, max per player and stacks. Tick Fade questionable and doubtful players if you don't want to babysit them.
Tap Build lineups, then Download CSV File.
On DraftKings, open the contest and upload that file on the upload-lineups page.
Game day: late swap
If someone in your lineups is ruled out before his game starts:
On DraftKings, go to My Contests → Upcoming, open Edit Entries and download your entries CSV.
In Solomon, pick the matching mode at the top (Classic or Showdown).
Open Game-day news and choose the file under Late swap. Solomon lists each swap it makes.
Tap Download swapped entries CSV and upload it back with Edit Entries.
Only ruled-out players change. Each swap stays under the cap and in that entry's game, and players whose game has started stay put.
League tracker
For your private league: tap Track on a built lineup, fill in the entries, finish, and 1st and 2nd place scores, then Save week. Your score fills itself in when the stats are out, and over a few weeks you'll see the score it takes to win.
My DraftKings results
Your finish, cash count, and money spent and won in every NFL contest you've played.
On DraftKings, go to My Contests → History.
Download your entry history. The file is named like draftkings-contest-entry-history.csv.
In Solomon, open League tracker and choose the file under My DraftKings results.
Do it once a week, or whenever you like. Each file holds your whole history, and Solomon only adds what's new.
What the field drafted
The free stats Solomon uses already track every player's points, consistency, usage and matchups. What they don't have is ownership: how much of the field drafted each player. This file has it, and it also gives the winning score and the cash line.
After a contest is over, go to My Contests → Completed on DraftKings and open the contest.
Click Export Lineups to CSV (near the standings). It downloads contest-standings-<number>.zip.
In Solomon, open League tracker and choose that zip under What the field drafted. No need to unzip it.
What you get
The contest's winning score, the cash line and your best entry.
The winning lineup with each player's ownership, so you can see if it was chalk or a contrarian pick.
Every player's % drafted (and as captain, for showdown) next to the points he scored.
On each player's card in the rankings: how much the field drafted him in recent contests.
Import your results history too. It tells Solomon the contest's date and how many places paid, which gives the cash line. One big contest per slate is plenty, since ownership is about the same across contests of the same slate.
Back up my data
Your saved models, trends, league tracker, results and ownership live in your browser, and only on the website you saved them on. A different browser, your phone, or a new web address starts empty until you restore a backup.
At the bottom of Solomon, open Back up my data and tap Download backup. It saves solomon-backup-<date>.json.
On the new browser or website, open Back up my data and choose that file.
It says what it brought back. Your saved data shows right away; settings like the lineup options return the next time you open Solomon.
Restoring only adds. Anything already saved there stays as it is, so it's safe to restore the same file twice. Make a fresh backup every few weeks.
